GIROS offers a wide range of activities:

• Analysis of historical data
• Forecasts and trend indicators (3 months)
• Alert management
• Advanced scientific tools for the analysis of physico-chemical phenomenons
• It includes easy-to-use decision support modules, which have a geographical representation (GIS) to visualise the results of forecasts or studies carried out by LISOS: navigation, dredging, environmental characteristics, studies (visualisation of results), Garonne 2050.

GIROS uses the results of daily simulations carried out by LISOS (GIS interface) and also features a powerful interactive calculation platform (Notebook Jupyter) for scientific activities to analyse the results.
